Spectacular Book Bag Sale on October 13

Our August and September book bag sales were huge, but October's will be even bigger.  Pick any books from our bargain room for $2.00 a shopping bag, while most books from our other five rooms will be just $5.00 a bag.  We supply the bags too.  The sale lasts from 11 am to 2 pm on Sunday, October 13, next to the Terman Library at 661 Arastradero Road in Palo Alto.  We have to move whatever we don't sell, so please come and find all the great books to go on your shelves as you help empty ours!

We're Moving to Cubberley!

It's official.  We're moving into 3,600 square feet of new relocatable buildings at the Cubberley Community Center, along the north driveway immediately adjacent to the Charleston Shopping Center.  Our October monthly book sale will still be at Terman and we will have one more sale at Terman on November 9.  Look for much more information about the Cubberley sale site in next month's issue of this newsletter and at our website.

Please Keep Donating

Just because we're moving doesn't mean that we don't want your donated books, magazines, videos, CDs, and DVDs.  Please continue to drop them off at the Terman Park Library, Tuesdays through Saturdays from 2 pm to 6 pm, or at any time at the Friends of the Library book room donation drop at the other end of the Terman Library building.  Donations of one box or less may be taken to any Palo Alto library during regular business hours.

For assistance with large quantities of books, or if you are unable to deliver them to the Terman Library, please call our volunteers at 650/493-5672 or 650/856-1862 or email us.

Your donations to the Friends of the Palo Alto Library are fully tax-deductible to the complete extent allowed by law.
